Marina French, PLA
Restoration designer, landscape architect
Marina is a landscape architect and restoration designer who specializes in creating ecologically resilient designs that help clients mitigate for project-related impacts and enhance critical area functions. She frequently works with DCG/Watershed’s planning department on shoreline restoration projects and is a senior member of the firm’s landscape architecture team.
Outside of DCG/Watershed
Marina grew up in a diverse city on the San Joaquin river delta amongst farmland and wetlands hidden by levees. She spent many summers camping in the Sierra Nevada's forests. Her national and international travels have inspired a sense of wonder and appreciation of our natural world. She is an advocate of environmental education and environmental justice work. In lieu of her previous hobbies, she decided to have two kids, who are her daily joy and entertainment.
