Angela Mele, MFA
INTERPRETIVE PLANNER & scientific illustrator
Angela collaborates with clients and their communities to create interpretation around environmental and cultural topics. With her background in science illustration and museum exhibition development, Angela excels in balancing scientific accuracy with compelling, accessible design. She considers audience evaluation and prototyping to be a critical part of the process (plus, it makes things more fun!).
Outside of DCG/Watershed
Angela is known for her affinity for fungi and slime molds (collecting and illustrating them; sometimes making entire exhibitions about them). She also loves hiking, camping, kayaking, and exploring museums of all kinds.
