HEALTH INSURANCE
The Watershed Company offers medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage to all full-time employees and their dependents. Full-time employees are also eligible for a disability policy after six months of employment, paid in full by the company. Benefits are prorated for part-time employees.
Paid time off (PTO)
We offer PTO that lumps vacation and sick leave together to provide more flexibility and control to employees.
Holiday Pay
We provide eight paid holidays, including two flexible holidays of the employee’s choosing.
Retirement Plan
The Watershed Company helps its employees save for retirement through a company sponsored 401 (k) plan along with a company match of employee contributions up to 4%. Additional company contributions are made through profit sharing at year end.
Continuing Education
Our goal is for employees to continue to improve their professional skills and enhance their expertise. We will pay for local classes and trainings that are pre-approved. In addition, we believe it is important to share our expertise with schools and community groups and encourage employees to take an active role in professional organizations related to their field.
WFH and office-based options
Watershed has a fully functional office to support staff needs but also offers flexible working arrangements for those who wish to work from home either full or part time.
Alternative Commuter Benefit
As an environmental consulting company, we are committed to preservation and conservation of resources. The Watershed Company encourages office-based employees to commute via alternative transportation such as carpooling, busing, biking, and walking. We will purchase Orca cards for regular bus commuters and offer reimbursement for bicycle-related expenses. A shower and lockers are available at the office.
