Environmental planner
Kim is an environmental planner and natural resources projects manager with a background in forest health, restoration ecology, and wetland management. Kim has specialist knowledge of Pacific Northwest plants and ecosystems, advanced training in wetland science, and is an ISA certified arborist. As part of her professional services, she manages multi-disciplinary planning and natural resource projects for both public and private sector clients. Prior to joining DCG/Watershed, Kim worked for government and non-profits where she specialized in plant community assessments and monitoring, restoration design and implementation, land management, and long-term forest management planning.
Outside of DCG/Watershed
When not at work, Kim can be found enjoying time with her family, growing vegetables in her neighborhood P-patch, hiking through our region’s urban open spaces and beautiful PNW mountains, kayaking on Lake Washington, and making music on her acoustic guitar.
