Matt Covert
Senior Planner
Matt is a senior planner at DCG/Watershed. He has 11 years of experience in local and regional planning. He has worked on a wide range of planning issues from site design and front-counter work on behalf of private development clients, to on-call planning and permitting for cities, to conducting long-range planning work for cities and counties around Washington. He has leveraged his extensive experience with Growth Management Act planning and what works at the local level to help communities implement new housing, land use, and environmental planning requirements in goals, policies, and development regulations.
Outside of DCG/Watershed
Matt enjoys spending time with his family, especially his wife and young daughter. He likes to mountain bike, rock climb, and hike, among other outdoor pursuits.
