Project Coordinator
The Watershed Company, is seeking experienced candidates for an open Project Coordinator position. The project coordinator works directly with the landscape architects, engineers, planners, arborists, and ecologists to manage and coordinate project‐related administrative functions. It is imperative that the project coordinator performs their duties with a thorough knowledge of company policies and practices in order to execute them with efficiency and accuracy. This position is on-site with limited ability to work remotely when necessary.
In addition to our Kirkland office, we have several offices conveniently located throughout the Puget Sound area, including:
Seattle
Mount Vernon
Whidbey Island
Federal Way
Duties and Expectations:
Assist with preparation of contract documents, including scopes and budgets
Tracking project budgets
Coordinating and tracking subconsultant contracts
Uploading project information to Vantage Point financial and CRM software
Contracts tracking and updating rate tables through project duration
Budget tracking and sub consultant budget/invoice tracking
Administrative correspondence with subconsultants and clients
Assisting project managers with invoicing
Ordering and maintaining certificates of insurance from vendors and sub vendors
Identify areas of improvement in tasks and takes initiative to develop and streamline processes
Some office management duties as needed
Performs other administrative related duties as assigned
Desired Experience:
Ability to work with project managers, staff, sub-consultants and clients
Must have the ability to take initiative in identifying and solving complex problems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven interpersonal and customer service skills
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Thorough understanding of, or the ability to quickly learn about the current project
Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Vantage Point
A working knowledge of engineering or architectural practices is advantageous
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, a combination of education and professional experience may be substituted
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $29 to $36 per hour and depends on experience and qualifications. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, commuting assistance, continuing education, performance bonuses, retirement program with future company match, and opportunities for growth, promotion, and ownership.
