Log structures provide habitat for fish and stabilize banks along 2500 feet of North Creek in the City of Mill Creek. Structures were installed at 13 locations to halt erosion below a paved City trail and provide cover for salmonids. The Watershed Company prepared conceptual designs for stream
restoration, garnering grant funding for final design, permitting, and installation of half the sites in 2005, and the remaining sites in 2008. We provided performance monitoring for five years following installation of each site.
